DIGITAL AND PRINT MARKETING CAMPAIGN MATERIALS

Project Brief

Create engaging marketing material for various marketing campaigns. The marketing material will be designed for print and digital mediums. The marketing material needs to adhere to the University of New Mexico's Brand Guide as well as that of collaborators such as Apple and HydroFlask. 

The Project

Technologies: Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and Indesign

Each campaign brought forth different constraints and requirements. I approached each of these by first learning more about the topic. For example, when approaching the Black History Month poster I knew I wanted to create marketing materials that conveyed the significance of the subject matter without doing it in a way that was offensive or expected. I requested feedback from POC communities to make sure the material was appropriate. 

Other challenges I faced were working with Apple's and Hydroflask's brand guides and in direct collaboration with a representative from each company. When approaching these designs, I was limited with some of the design work I could do. Despite this, I found ways to create engaging content for each campaign that was positively received by Apple, Hydroflask, and UNM bookstore leadership.

I worked in collaboration with the marketing team when creating these campaigns. I received feedback from my team lead on my designs and applied their critique to future iterations. Based on these print posters, I then created materials for Facebook, Instagram, and our bookstore website. I handled the design, print, assembly, and installation of the print signs and updated the graphics on the website.
